Testimonials

“I’m sure you hear this all the time but I couldn't stop singing songs of praise to the staff of MyMagicCredit.com ™. I got an updated copy of my Experian Credit Report today and I was so happy I started jumping up and down in the driveway. They deleted six out of nine negative entries — and in less than two months — now that’s what I call SERVICE. I can’t wait to see the negative entries fall off my other reports as well!

How does MyMagicCredit.com ™ restore bad credit?

MyMagicCredit.com ™ offers three levels of service. Our regular retainer utilizes targeted disputes based upon the Fair Credit Reporting Act in order to delete inaccurate, misleading, obsolete and unverifiable information from your credit reports. Our Platinum & Titanium packages have upgrades that incorporate additional strategies pursuant to other consumer protection statutes.

With each service level, you use Dispute Valet to indicate to us, which items you wish to dispute, and how you want us to dispute them. Once we've received your credit reports, we will prepare the appropriate intervention or dispute letters. The dispute letters are designed to communicate your dispute in such a way that the credit bureaus will accept the dispute and conduct an investigation. The Concord retainer expansions add interventions such as escalated account investigations, goodwill interventions, formal requests for debt validation, and monthly score analyses.

You do have the right, under federal law, to conduct your own credit repair process if you so choose. While this may sound easy, any person who has attempted to dispute items on his own credit report may tell you otherwise. According to federal law, the credit bureaus can ignore your dispute under a variety of conditions.

At the conclusion of the credit bureau's investigation, a new copy of the credit report should be sent to your home along with any deletions or improvements. You then copy and send us the new credit report. If you are still not satisfied that the questionable, negative credit has been accurately resolved, the cycle will begin again.

A disputed credit listing must be accurate, timely and verifiable for it to remain on the credit report. If the credit listing is only somewhat inaccurate, the credit bureau may simply change the item to reflect the accurate status. Very often, though, disputed credit items cannot be verified: the creditor either no longer possesses the information or does not wish to go to the trouble of verifying it. Also, the reinvestigation must be completed within 30 days, though the credit bureaus do not always meet this deadline, or the listing must be removed. For these reasons, properly disputed questionable credit listings have been removed with remarkable frequency.

How does MyMagicCredit.com ™ legally repair bad credit?

Although some would like to have you think otherwise, there is absolutely nothing illegal about disputing questionable items on your credit report. In fact, it is your explicit right by law to do so (see Fair Credit Reporting Act).

Moreover, our Plainum & Titanium packages offer upgrades with additional consumer protection services using some or all of the following statutes: The federal Fair Credit Billing Act accords consumers the right to request extensive information regarding billing and account history. The Truth in Lending Act stipulates conditions for establishing credit accounts. And, finally, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act allocates specific rights to citizens regarding accounts that have passed into collection status.

Using a variety of strategies, we will advocate for your consumer rights.

How long does credit repair take?

It is inappropriate for any credit repair company to promise a particular result within a certain time frame. Though we can give you an idea as to how we have performed in the past, your personal experience may vary. When credit reports are promptly sent to us, many clients have seen exhilarating progress within the first 90 days.

Statistically, our participating clients have seen an average of 8.7 deletions (or 25.7% of their presenting negatives) from their combined credit reports by month 3, and 28.6 deletions (or 84.7% of their presenting negatives) by month 12.*

The progress of your case will depend on your timely participation (sending in credit reports on a timely basis), the nature of your case, and the level of credit bureau cooperation.

Because MyMagicCredit.com ™ clients are provided expanded legal services that include additional interventions, their cases may proceed even more quickly. However, it is important to remember that a credit Repair Company cannot promise a particular result within a certain time frame since every case and credit report is different.

Can I restore my own credit?

Yes. You have the legal right to work out your credit disputes with the credit agencies and credit grantors yourself. Given some experience and study, you could do some of what our staff does. It is much like your right as a citizen to represent yourself in court.

Many people, however, choose to ask MyMagicCredit.com ™ Firm to represent them because of the depth of experience the MyMagicCredit.com ™ Firm will bring to bear. But, should you wish, you could represent yourself.

Another factor to consider is the amount of time and follow-up required to coordinate disputes with all three credit reporting agencies and the creditors appearing on your credit report. MyMagicCredit.com ™ has systematized the disputation of credit through a trained , all using state of the art technology.

With that said, we encourage consumers to dispute their own credit if they have the time and knowledge to do so.

Can I pay you more to do even more?

While MyMagicCredit.com ™'s regular (Gold Package) $49.95/month legal retainer utilizes the Fair Credit Reporting Act and has achieved excellent results, we also offer an expansion of our service. For just $20/month more, our Platinum Service adds additional legal interventions.

Most clients prefer the flat monthly fee of our regular Packages since the flat monthly fee is normally less expensive. However, if you would like to see our fees as billed by the action (Pay-Per-Action), feel free to ask you case manager.

Can I pay by the action?

Virtually every client prefers to pay the normal, flat, monthly retainer fee instead of paying by the action. Paying the flat monthly rate should ALWAYS be more cost-effective because Per-Action billing can run up a large bill very quickly. However, we can provide our Per-Action rates sheet for reference purposes. Again, if you have selected our normal retainer, and not specifically asked your to change you case to a Pay-Per-Action basis, you will not ever be responsible for paying fees as noted below.

What if deleted items reappear on my credit report?

On occasion, the creditor may eventually verify a negative listing that was recently deleted. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires that the credit bureau inform you before the re-report a previously deleted listing. The FCRA also makes it more difficult for credit bureaus to re-report listings. Because of these factors, it is fairly rare for listings to come back on once they've been deleted.

If a questionable credit item is re-reported, it is a simple matter to challenge the listing again at a future time to press for permanent deletion.

Do I need to pay my bills?

If there are delinquent accounts appearing on your credit reports that have not been paid off, the actual debt behind the listing remains the same even if the account is deleted from your credit report. You may still owe the same money that you validly owed in the first place subject to your state's applicable statute of limitations. If you don't pay the debt, the creditor or a collection agency may re-report the item. So removing the listing without addressing the debt is only a temporary solution. In fact, we will only dispute credit listings that you indicate are inaccurate, unverifiable or misleading. If you feel that a negative credit listing is 100% accurate, timely and verifiable, then you shouldn't dispute it.

Does paying my bills restore my bad credit?

You would think that would be true. But, again, the credit reporting system just doesn't work that way.

When you pay an old debt, the negative credit listing doesn't disappear. Once paid, it may appear on your credit report as a paid delinquency, charge off or collection (whatever the case may be.)

That is, you won't get very far paying your debts unless you also work to restore your credit at the same time.

Do I need to see my credit reports first?

Most people visit this web site after they have been denied credit. Most don't even know what questionable negative listings is likely appearing on their credit report.

One amazing thing about bad credit is that almost any small amount of bad credit will trigger credit denial. A little bad credit isn't much better than a ton. So, if you believe that there might only be a couple of questionable negative listings on your credit report, it still makes sense to retain us for the time it takes to remove them.

In any case, if your credit comes back all positive or you decide all items are accurate and verifiable, we generally refund any fees.

Do you guarantee your credit repair service?

It is important to understand there are no guarantees involved with credit repair services. Just like in a court of law, an could never guarantee a client that the judge or jury would find in their favor.

However, we are sufficiently confident in our frequency of success that we offer a risk-free refund policy for our service.

When can I call my case manager?

When you retain MyMagicCredit.com ™, a is assigned to your case within 24 hours. Members of this team are available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have during the course of your service. You may contact your by phone at any time. In addition, you also have the option of communicating with your by email or live chat.

How do I get updates on casework?

Credit reports will arrive first at your home and then you will forward photocopies of them to us. So, when we accomplish deletions and improvements, you will see them first on your credit report.

Additionally, you are always welcome to call or email your and request an update of the progress of your case.

Why does MyMagicCredit.com ™ need updated credit reports?

Our ability to delete questionable negative items is dependent on having up-to-date credit reports. Without copies of your current credit reports we can do very little to improve your credit. Sometimes clients forget to forward their credit reports. Other times the credit bureaus fail to send updated reports to the client. In either case the process slows until we receive updated credit reports. It is therefore crucial that you forward updated reports to MyMagicCredit.Com as soon as you receive such from the bureaus in order for MyMagicCredit.com ™ to keep your case moving forward.

Why does MyMagicCredit.com ™ require reports to be mailed?

While faxing can be a faster way of getting your credit reports to us, it is also much less reliable that mailing them to our office. Fax machines can vary greatly in quality. As such facsimiles are often illegible due to smears, smudges, or other artifacts caused by the inferior quality of some machines. This makes it particularly difficult to read the small typeface commonly found on credit reports, and thus delays the process unnecessarily. To avoid these problems, which can cause significant delays, we have adopted a policy that requires clients to mail the reports to us instead. This is the only way to guarantee that we receive legible and accurate reports from our clients. To expedite the service you may want to consider mailing your reports via overnight of priority mail.
